Oh, a sad day. I just cancelled Netflix. I was only on the one
at a time plan unlimited. I joined in November 2005. I have to admit it's been pretty nice. It has probably saved me a lot of money - I would buy all the DVD's I wanted to watch. However, I would only watch the DVD's once and then they would get passed around to family members. I joined Netflix because it sounded fun and I was hoping it would save me money. I enjoyed it for the last year and a half or so. But it's summer time. I have a Tivo. I'm reading more and more. I'm watching less and less films. The big blockbuster films I have been buying. I've been mostly getting old TV series from Netlfix, like Mission Impossible. I definitely want to sign up again in the near future. Netflix is suppose to keep my list of DVD's I have rented for two years. I set it to have Netflix e-mail me in two months to remind me to sign back up. When the cold weather comes I will sign up again. So long Netflix! Besides the throttling, it's been fun! |

I'm hot or cold with Netflix. I get the three DVD pack for about 20 bucks a month. Sometimes like now, I am on vacation and blowing through two movies a night. Other times I'll be busy and only watch 1-2 movies a week. Either way, it's a great system and I can't see myself canceling it.

I cancelled and a few days later they lower their prices!
It's obvious to me they lowered their prices because of me. They were closely monitoring my account because they know how important I am. This is more evidence on why I should be promoted to Supreme Moderator of this forum. It's only right that someone who is very important to Netflix should be a moderator of this forum. |
