Fire up the home theater and buckle in because Universal Home Entertainment is bringing Rob Cohen and Justin Lin's car porn films to Blu-ray Disc.

The Fast and The Furious Trilogy races off on March 24th in time for Fast & Furious's race at the box office.

Similar to The Bourne Trilogy, all three films will be feature new 1080p widescreen versions for Blu-ray Disc along with remastered dts-HD Master Audio English 5.1 Surround sound. All three discs also feature U-Control and BD-Live features along with all of the original DVD special features. On top of that, to ensure the maximum home theater fun and feel, all three also have D-BOX motion enhancement codecs.

Oddly, the original Animated Anecdotes pop-up track for 2 Fast 2 Furious has been repurposed as a U-Control feature. As for BD-Live, all three feature My Scenes Sharing and Download Center but only The Fast and The Furious has a BD-Live: Video Mash-Up feature.

The box set will retail for $99.98 US which is a bit on the high side but discounts could bring it down to around $65 US.
