Universal Studios Home Entertainment will begin pushing their Blu envelope with two of the biggest summer 2008 blockbusters coming with an innovative new special feature.

First up is the wordwide uber smash Mamma Mia! (2008). The film has done gangbusters overseas and stood up surprisingly well against the The Dark Knight in the US.

The Blu-ray Disc arrives December 16th with an incredible amount of special features including the ability to record your own video commentary track! Among the additional numerous bonus materials are on-screen lyrics for 22 of the musical numbers(!!), Amanda Seyfrieds "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!" music video, 3 feaurettes, and more to be announced. Retail is $39.99 US for this great Holiday gift.

Next up is the US debut hit for Timur Bekmambetov: Wanted (2008). Two versions of this visual effects powerhouse will be available on Blu-ray Disc. The BD curves around the Holidays this December 2nd with over three hours of added-value materials.

The Wanted - Collector's Edition price has not yet been set but the BD disc will retail for $39.99 US.
