Criterion has announced an all-new special edition of Salò (The 120 Days of Sodom) for release August 26th.
This release will differ greatly from the UK Special Edition DVD and Special Edition Blu-ray Disc.
Criterion has restored the film at 2k resolution and in high-definiton. The original Italian mono soundmix has been restored and mastered at 24bit.
