I have a problem. I downloaded a few songs from iTunes, and now I can't make a CD out of them with Nero. Apparently these files have somekind of protection.
I want to convert these Mpeg4 protected files into MP3 format. So I went on-line and found a couple of programs, like tunebite. But the free trial only converts one minute of the track or so.
I only have three Mpeg4 protected files that I want to convert, so it is not worth it for me to buy the whole program. Does anyone know of any free piece of software that converts entire Mpeg4 protected files into MP3s?
Thanks a lot!

You don't need Nero.

You can burn an audio CD of the songs you have downloaded from the iTunes store, right in iTunes.

You are limited to a certain number of CD burns (I don't recall how many, at the moment... 10 or 12, maybe), and by the amount of space on a recordable CD, of course.

You then take the CD you just burned and re-import the songs into iTunes as mp3 files.

I am using Daniusoft Media Converter Pro, it can handle with all types of drm video music files and no-drm video, and works really great, you can check it out from its official site for free
