Pancreatic cancer is a death sentence...very sad.

True , he`s not dying , but pancreatic cancer metastasizes deeper and faster than most other cancers.

The prognosis does not look good, :( I am saddened to say.

One of his best roles was playing "Orry Main" in the made for tv mini series "North & South" both books 1 and 2 as well as a very brief opening shot for book 3.

As well as many movies over his all to short career , although he is very sick , I did hear on CNN that he is going ahead with a new project.

The human body is very resilient , we should all say { a thought } a special prayer that he may overcome this tremendous obstacle that has been placed before him.

About 25 yrs ago, my uncle had pancreatic cancer.
Won the battle. Never came back to him. He's still with us today.
After that, I never write anyone off.

Besides, the dr's treating the actor have a good prognosis for him.
