The TV converter Box Coupons, well not really coupons but credit cards with a $40 limit. They list Best Buy, RadioShack and Wal-Mart as the retailers you can redeem the cards but I'm sure this may change by region. They have a 90 day limit which expire 05/23/08 for me. There is a list of a bunch of converter boxes eligible to buy with the card and the list will grow.

No,you won't need the converter box if you get basic cable.

So far it looks like the MaxMedia ATSC Converter Box (MMDTVB03) has the most options for the money $58.99 for one, $54.99 for 2 direct order so with coupon it only cost around $18 out of pocket cash.
