I'm considering a Casio CW-75 printer with a built-in keyboard to make labels for my DVDs. I'm wondering if any plain-side blank disc can be used and will the printing smudge over use?
I had been using the Brother P-Touch self-adhesive strip labels but rather have something more professional and have never had any luck with those kits for printing your own.
You should think about getting a "Light-Scribe" dvd burner.
This site may help.

Good luck :)

Maybe when I get a new PC. Right now I have about a dozen discs that I have recorded home movies on and needing titles. The blanks were not marked lightscribe so I have to use the other method.
Thanks.

I placed a bid for one on Ebay so when I get it, I'll report on how well it does or doesn't meet my need.
BTW, thanks Jedi for being the single response! (G)

It works OK however I would recommend getting the optional AC adapter. Replacing batteries gets expensive and you need to watch what blank-sided discs you buy. Some surfaces print better than others.
