I saw that Best Buy has a deal on Blue Rays - Buy 2 and get like $20 back? I think they are $30 each, so that get's them down to $20 each if my math is any good... Just FYI, we're luddites and still just using regular dvds.

I don't know if any of you are borders Rewards members but it's free to join and you earn points and all that but the best part is you receive coupons in your email from time to time which sometimes include 40% off up to 3 DVDs of your choice. I know Borders sells for suggested retail but with the discount it's usually cheaper than even online sources!

The Fry's in Burbank, CA, is selling hundreds of HD-DVD titles for $10 to $12. I picked a few up.
Yeah, yeah, I know the format is obsolete, but the prices for some movies I've wanted was hard to beat. I don't know if other Fry's are doing the same thing.

Its all good.
I'd recommend picking up a back up player now. I read on some sites new ones like the HD-A30 can be had as low as $50-75 now.

I gotta ton o' great deals from the Half Price Books places
down here. And now, i can proudly say I finished getting the
whole series of The Sopranos for under $150 over the last coupla years.
Aaaaaah, patience.
I picked up the S.6, Part 2 (mint!, mind you...) today for $7.
"7 Bucks!!?? How the f(bleep) didja swing that?!?!"
Glad ya asked.
I entered in a drawing for a $25 gift certificate from last Sunday
and I got it in the mail on wednesday. It was priced at $30 plus tax.
What a deal!!
Technically, for the whole series, if ya add it up, I only paid for 2...

This is a steal if your a fan of the film. I've already seen this on BD & it has a solid transfer throughout. This one caught me off guard as I wasn't expecting such a solid transfer for an older film but trust me it looks like it was shot yesterday.
Don't know how long this sale will last..

For those that want the Starship Troopers Blu-ray Disc collection at the lowest price, CD Wow is offering it for $8.99 USD shipping included.
Bear in mind that this set is a shared license release between Buena Vista UK and Sony UK. So Starship Troopers is the UK Blu-ray Disc by Buena Vista UK and does not include commentaries or picture-in-picture BonusView track. However, the 2nd and 3rd film are the UK BDs from Sony UK and include the same extras as the US release plus the cost savings over buying the US release is more than worth it.
This box set is all-region so it will work on any BD player and the extras are in NTSC format.
