Yes, I am indeed. But that doesn't mean I won't let people know about other great deals. Right now I'm just waiting for sharp to finally put their new 24p Aquos TVs on store shelves to upgrade my set.

I ordered the 42" Vizio last Friday, should get it Thursday! I couldn't pass up on this deal...."a 42 inch 1920X1080 HDTV for under 1000 bucks"...not long ago, that price seemed impossible. :)

They aren't... Vizio is Vizio and Sony is Sony...They are actually competitors. There are rumors circling around the internet that the LCD panels are made by Sony but I haven't read anything that makes me believe that. My unit has arrived and I gotta say that I am thrilled with the picture this thing delivers. I have watched several Blu-ray and HD-DVD's and have not been dissapointed. :)

That was my point. Not Sony!. Sony is known to co-own a Factory with Samsung that makes the LCD panels. Its what happens outside the factory that makes it a Sony... Circuitry etc
