Pathfinder Blind Buy

Has anyone seen Pathfinder? I saw a commercial for it and it looked good but know nothing about the movie. Is the Unrated DVD that just came out worth a blind buy?

I haven't seen the film but the IMDB user rating is pretty low so I probably wouldn't make it a blind buy.

but then again...can you really trust IMDB??? i say rental first then decide if its worth having in your collection.

I didn't say I trust IMDB. But if a movie gets a super-average score there - which Pathfinder did - it is clearly not "blind buy" material. I'm not saying it is necessarily a bad movie as a result, but like you suggest it is something you may want to check out before plunking your hard earned money down for.

well to give my 2 cents...I loved the movie! It was a blind buy for me as well. Very gruesome movie. I just picked up the BluRay version and haven't watched it yet. If you like a good barbaric movie, you might like this.
